Friends Afternoon 18th August – Cream Teas and Cardamom

Lovely afternoon and company – from Amberley, Rodborough, Nailsworth, Stroud and Bristol.  Many interested visitors came to Hill House for the first time.  Ginger scones, cardamom cake, strawberries and cream and the highly acclaimed pancakes cooked on the spot by JP.  Gleams of sunshine, and many offers of help for the hill house project, and ideas for support for sanctuary seeking people in Gloucester and Bristol.  Good will towards refugees is active and strong in this area – so good to see.  Tables, tea urn, chairs – loaned for the occasion from the local community.  Thank you to everyone for your cooking, your help, your company and your donations!
