Book at Eventbrite for our fund-raising afternoon of garden entertainment at Hill House on Sunday 30th June 2019, from 1 – 5.30 pm.
It begins with a fabulous meal prepared on site and al fresco by “Moveable Feast”.
Then comes a performance of “Measure for Measure” , a somewhat dark comedy of Shakespeare’s, made lighter by musical accompaniment and song, as well as the amateur capacity of the players.
Followed by tea and cakes to share – please bring these! As well as a cushion chair or mat to sit on. We have some chairs, but supply is limited.
Finally there will be a chance to buy the brand new book “100,000 Welcomes” which is the story of City of Sanctuary in UK and Ireland, told through the voices of many sanctuary seekers and welcomers. And have it signed by the author Tiffy Allen!
The whole marvellous afternoon costs £12 per person, (students and children, £5 or by donation). This is payable at the door on the day, but please book a place through Eventbrite, so we can cater for enough people.
